To the Mill A School District Families and Community,
Please accept my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of this school community for the past eight years. I am writing to share my decision to resign from the position as superintendent and principal of the Mill A School District, effective June 30, 2024. I will be transitioning into the role of superintendent of Glenwood School District starting July 1.
I’m so proud of what we have accomplished in Mill A/PCIA together. Since being recruited to the district in 2015, MASD has undergone significant growth, and I am proud of my contribution toward the restoration of the Mill A School. The successful launch of Pacific Crest Innovation Academy was a tremendous team effort, and I am grateful to have been able to contribute to the initial success and growth of that program. Most especially, I have been proud of the supportive team that has embraced the vision to make our schools a place where every student is seen, known, and has a sense of belonging.
Thank you to those who have contributed to making Mill A School and PCIA such special places. I would also like to express appreciation to the many families and community members who have reached out to voice support during the recent months. Everything that has a beginning has an end, and I am grateful for this season I have been blessed with at Mill A. Thank you for being part of this journey and I wish the entire Mill A community all the best in the future.
Sincerely,
Bob Rogers
